Then two are better, and fourteen is - tremendous! Due to our recent move ( from trailer to trailer), I had to go through a lot of cupboards, drawers, and other storage places. I was amazed to find that I had fourteen denim skirts! While that may seem like overkill to some, it is my favorite article of clothing, and I have various styles to accommodate the seasons as well as my personal taste. I have straight skirts and A-lines, long and short, dark and light, old and new. I love the variety and the durability of denim, and I think it is the perfect garment for my everyday activities. So, I am celebrating my denim skirt collection, just because it makes me smile to think of the neatly folded stack of blues on my closet shelf. What is your private obsession?
you can't help it that they come out with so many different kinds of denim. I didn't realize how many I had until somebody made fun of me for it (my employer!) so I began to add other types of fabric-- like cotton. I recently read that seersucker is good for hot weather-- but it reminds me of either babies or old ladies....

ReplyDeleteRight now, as it is winter, I'm getting into a scarf obsession. They keep my neck warm and add some colour and variety to my wardrobe.
Sarah, I can finally relax. I have about 10 or 12 (not all fit, of course!) but I was feeling guilty! Why is it guys can live in blue jeans and I was feeling guilty for my denim skirts? No more! Think of you often and enjoy catching up with you here! ♥♥
